Crystal grew up in northern Missouri, where her love for art blossomed at an early age. She pursued her creative interests academically, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with a minor in Art Design from Missouri State University.

After spending a decade as a graphic designer, Crystal turned her artistic talents toward surface and textile pattern design. In 2015, she bought her first sewing machine and began teaching herself to sew, using her custom-printed Spoonflower fabrics. Though she endured the occasional pinprick and became well-acquainted with her seam ripper, her passion for sewing and fabric design flourished.

Since 2017, Crystal has been designing fabric for Moda Fabrics, inspiring sewists to create with her stylish collections. She also designs quilt patterns to complement her fabric lines. Click here to see fabric collections with Moda.

Now based in Kansas City, Missouri, Crystal continues to create designs for licensing, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. Her work reflects her love of flowers, birds, and cheerful colors, often infused with a vintage charm.
