Sagewood
I'm thrilled to share my latest fabric collection with Moda today called Sagewood. It will ship to quilt shops in March, bringing with it a breath of fresh air and the promise of endless creative possibilities!
Sagewood has a rich and vibrant color palette that is sure to inspire many sewing projects. From deep, earthy greens to warm golden yellows, teals, with pops of berries and pink, each color evokes the serene beauty of nature.
I was inspired by zinnia flowers that I see in bloom in the summer. When my mom and I were on a walk she told me her grandmother planted zinnias and she would let her pick a bouquet to take inside. I think these hues really captivate the comfort and joy of a summer bouquet.
To add a touch of whimsy you will find a cute dragonfly print. While on a bike ride last year I noticed I was among a swarm of dragonflies. I presume they were migrating, I honestly hadn't thought of it until then but it really made an impression on me. They were so beautiful flying together, shimmering in the sun.
Mark your calendars! Sagewood will be shipping to quilt shops in March, just in time for spring quilting projects. I can't wait for you to get your hands on this beautiful collection and see the amazing quilts you'll create. Be sure to check with your local quilt shop to ensure they’ll be stocking Sagewood, and get ready to let your creativity bloom.
