Kasada - Ships In November

Kasada was inspired by the magic and mystery that is felt when wandering through a bazaar with exquisite patterns and vivid colors all around. In this collection you will find leopard prints, peacocks, ikat and florals which all bring exciting stitching opportunities with a bohemian flare for home décor and accessories. There are also four rayon prints perfect for garment making. Moda sales reps are currently showing this collection for an October delivery so get your orders in soon!

Here is the beautiful assortment of fat quarters with 13 prints.

I designed a fat quarter friendly quilt for this collection that is called Kasada, which means ADVENTURE! The sample shown is the throw version made with 18 fat quarters.

This quilt pattern is written by Natalie Crabtree and has directions for a throw and queen size. Finished sizes: (Throw 61" x 82 made with 18 fat quarters) and (Queen 82" x 103" made with 22 fat quarters)

Quilted by David Hurd who always has great recommendations on patterns and batting if you ever have any questions!

This pillow was a quick project that allowed for some fun free motion practice. The pom pom trim can be found in the Sew Hungry Hippie Shop.  Click here for the pom pom link.

You can also find a Gutermann thread color pack that matches Kasada perfectly!

Since I love to decorate with hearts, I also designed a throw size quilt called Wild Hearts. It is 72" x 72" with wonderful directions written by Natalie Crabtree. Quilted by David Hurd, see the beautiful stitching detail below.

The leopard print rayons look and feel glamorous. Perfect for garment sewers who want to add some sass to their handmade wardrobe.

In this sample, I've sewn the Seoul Bottom Blouse by Sew To Grow. The bow on the cuff won me over, however, this is a versatile pattern with different sleeve options.

I hope Kasada brings excitement and joy to all the makers out there. I am so anxious to see what people create with this vibrant collection.
