Josephine Quilt

Today I'd like to introduce you to Josephine! She's the perfect quilt pattern for your Layer Cakes! My goal was to create a simple Layer Cake friendly pattern and use the sashing to elevate the design. Don't use solids for sashing, use something exciting like a patchwork print or florals! 

If you don't have a Layer Cake, no worries, this pattern can easily be a scrap buster with 42 - 10" squares. Tia Curtis quilted this with an E2E design called Maggies Roses with a soft pink thread. I love how the subtle stitching brings the bohemian look all together. The patchwork backing in red makes this a delicious quilt on both sides! (11919-11)
