Growing Beautiful
Meet Growing Beautiful! This is a vibrant collection filled with painterly flowers complemented with fun abstract patterns. There are three versatile color ways along with four rayon prints perfect for garment making! Growing Beautiful ships in February and reps are taking orders now. Take a closer look at the prints and project inspiration!
This eggplant is one of those to-die-for colors. It’s so rich and gorgeous!
I’m so excited to have soft gorgeous rayon’s in this collection! The four prints include peonies, which is one of my spring-time favorites along with a field of wildflowers.
My sewing began by wanting to sew my own simple shift dresses. There is a feeling of pride and achievement when you put on a garment that you have made. I instantly smile and think…I made this!! This is what I would like other sewists to experience. Sewing your own clothes allows you to create a sense of style that is unique to you. As seen below, the Shift Dress by Indygo Junction is a perfect example of an easy project that feels wonderful to wear.
Another great project is the Everyday Tank by Indigo Junction. The perfect staple for summer that is available in long and short versions.
The wildflower print couldn’t be more adorable for little girls. The Rose Dress by Olive Ann is a great dress pattern for rayons.
Growing Beautiful also makes up into some lovely quilts. I have designed two to go along with the collection. This is the Penny Lane quilt pattern. It’s available in two sizes, 64” x 64” and 84” x 104”. This is a little tribute to The Beatles because the design reminded of pennies and Abbey Road.
Strawberry Rhubarb is named after my favorite pie; I just love the sweet and tart flavor. I felt like it described this quilt well with the strawberry print and pops of chartreuse. The finished size is 72” x 84”.
For those who also enjoy being creative in the kitchen; the Crossback Reversible Apron by Indygo Junction is a wonderful pattern that features two prints and is available in children’s sizes as well.
