Cup of Love Quilt - Christmas Tree Bonus Block

It's almost time to transform our homes into magical wonderlands. Are you getting excited? In addition to twinkling lights and garlands, the Christmas version of the Cup of Love quilt is ready to go with a Christmas Tree Bonus Block. 

While my friend Becky was putting the finishing touches with beautiful stitched swirls and snowflakes, I updated the construction of the block to eliminate a couple extra steps. So this is a situation where you do as I say, not as I do! 

1 1/2 yards of Background 1 is required to make this version. When you download the Bonus Block, it will include the updated cutting instructions to the original Cup of Love pattern. 

This is my first Christmas quilt and I love the nostalgia and warmth that it brings to our home. For the border I made Pinwheels because they remind me of peppermint candy. I hope you enjoy making this version as much as I did.  If you don't think you will have time this year, I highly recommend some throw pillows!
