It's officially Pumpkin Spice season and decorating for the fall is an absolute delight! As the leaves outside begin to change into a mesmerizing tapestry of warm hues, bringing that same cozy, autumnal charm indoors is both comforting and invigorating. There's something magical about adorning your home with rustic pumpkins, golden-hued leaves, and the warm glow of candles that instantly sets the mood for this wonderful time of year. I had the idea to update my Cup of Love quilt with maple leaves because it's so charming to hang in my kitchen. 

This Maple Leaf blocks replace the Flower blocks in the original Cup of Love Quilt and includes updated cutting instructions. The PDF quilt pattern is available here. 

The pattern works beautifully with a Layer Cake, but I recommend purchasing an extra fat quarter since you’ll want all of your prints to be medium or dark value. I especially enjoyed collecting fat quarters from different quilt shops to create my Maple Leaf version. It’s also a great scrap buster, so pull out your favorite autumn fabrics and start sewing!
