This week I decided to make my block with one of my favorite prints in the Julia collection that has teacups, flowers, and cute little birds. 

As you begin making your block, Step 1 is the perfect place to chain piece to save a little time. I press to the dark side so the seams will nest for the four-patch blocks.

I like to use the Half Square 4-in-1 Triangle Quilt Ruler to trim my HSTs. They turn out perfectly every time.

Now the hard part is to decide what fabrics you are going to use! Happy sewing, and bon appétit!
