Block Heads 4: Block 24

Happy Block Heads Wednesday sewing friends! The block we have to sew this week from Vanessa Christenson is a stunner. I think Block 24, Outtakes, it's actually one of my favorites. You can read more about Vanessa and this block on Moda's blog.

I have returned to my Paisley Rose and Kasada fabrics so I can get my sampler finished. For my layout, I only need 20 sample blocks so the end is in sight!

When I made my Outtakes Block, I chose to use the paper piecing method. It seems like the foolproof way of making it since I didn't have the rulers mentioned in the instructions. I love how the colors pop and the moth featured in the center from my favorite print in Kasada.
