Block Heads 4: Block 18

I had so much fun sewing this block up in the Sundance collection which is showing to shops now! I decided to feature the "Monarchs and Milkweed" print in the center but wanted the overall design to feel like a sunflower. Jeff and I added two butterfly bushes to our backyard this year. I'm hoping we will see some monarchs during their fall migration.

My Little Suzies that I cut for the photo were also an inspiration in this collection because they start blooming outside my studio window in July and they bring me joy.
