Arcadia Quilt

When I think of the Pacific Northwest, I’m reminded of the abundance of beautiful flowers. They obviously love the  cool, misty climate. So for this collection, a floral-inspired quilt felt like the perfect fit.

Arcadia is a vibrant new quilt pattern that celebrates nature’s bloom. This fat quarter–friendly design features 16 large flower blocks that come together quickly, framed by a colorful pieced border for extra charm. The background I used is the lovely Crossweave Lake by Moda (11216 25). The finished quilt measures 66" x 66", and the best part? It will be available as a kit!

A big thank you to Becky McCoy who worked her quilting magic so we could take Arcadia along on our trip! She used a pantograph design called Knit1 Purl2, which adds such a beautiful layer of texture to the floral blocks. It’s the perfect finishing touch!
